Who or what has inspired you the most?
My Dad, Robert Owen. He had a 5th-grade education but yet one of the wisest men I have ever known. Work ethic, integrity, laughter, helping others in need and my smile are a few things he gave me… uhh, and the stubbornness!
What is your favorite quote?
“It is one of the most beautiful compensations of this life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson. Tell the truth, you are more shocked that I read Emerson than you are inspired by the incredible truth of this quote!
What has been a turning point in your life?
November 4, 1985. At the age of 21, I surrendered my life to Christ. I was fortunate to still be living and thankful for His grace.
