How do I check my balance/status of my account?

To check your balance or find out the current value of your account, you can log into your account, create an account, or contact Customer Service.

Create an account by clicking “Log In” at the top of this website and follow the instructions for setting up your account.

How do I change my password?

  1. To change your password, log into your account and select “Settings” located in the top right corner.
  2. Under “Account Settings” select “Password”
  3. Enter your current password, enter your new password (twice), and click Submit.
  4. Use your new password the next time you log in.

How do I file a claim?

To file a claim, contact the funeral home that is listed on your policy. If you want to transfer your policy to a different funeral home at the time of loss, contact your funeral home of choice and bring a copy of your policy to the arrangement conference. Your funeral director will assist you with completing the claims process.

Did you receive my last payment?

To check the status of your payment, log into your account online to view the latest account activity. If you have any further questions, please contact Customer Service at 800-234-8031 or email customer.service@funeraldirectorslife.com.

How do I make a payment?

As a policyholder, you are able to make a one-time bank draft, credit card, or check-by-phone payment.

To make an online payment by bank draft or credit card:

  1. To start, click “Log In” at the top of this website and log into your account or create a new account if you do not have one.
  2. Select Pay by Bank Draft or Pay By Card under the “Make a Payment” panel on the Dashboard. This is also where you can set up a recurring bank draft.
  3. To pay by bank draft, enter the required information and select Submit at the bottom the screen.
  4. A payment confirmation will be displayed at the top of the panel. You will also receive a confirmation email when the payment is submitted.
  5. OR
  6. Select Pay by Credit Card in the Make a Payment panel on the Dashboard.
  7. Enter your credit card information.
  8. Click Continue.
  9. A payment confirmation will be displayed at the top of the panel. You will also receive a confirmation email when the payment is submitted.
