What was your favorite pet?
My favorite pet is my dog, Presley, who is named after Elvis Presley.
What are your favorite things?
I can hear Julie Andrews singing “These are a few of my favorite things” in the movie, The Sound of Music. A few of my favorite things are spending time with my family, reading, strawberries, white chocolate, country music, Elvis, M&M’s, going to concerts, hanging out with my sisters, running, watching old movies, and loving on my grandson!
What has been a turning point in your life?
Becoming a mom. There is no greater blessing than being a mom because I’m responsible for them, loving them, teaching them, and guiding them. I also saw the world through their eyes the first time they walked, saw fireworks, and encountered all the “firsts.” My role as a mom has changed over the years, but my kids and grandkids are my biggest blessings in life.
