Funeral Directors Life Launches New Corporate Culture Department

ABILENE, TX — When people walk through the doors of Funeral Directors Life (FDLIC) and interact with employees, they often realize that there is something special about the company. The culture of FDLIC and its parent company, Directors Investment Group, is characterized by Christian values, appreciation and respect for co-workers, and a sense of mission from employees for the clients they serve. To implement this set of ideals on a larger scale, FDLIC has created a new Corporate Culture Department.

“I am very happy to announce that our board of directors recently approved the formation of our Corporate Culture Department,” said Kris Seale, President and Chief Executive Officer. “This new department will be focused on building upon our legacy of optimum work-life balance, camaraderie, and culture built on values like loyalty, trust, accountability, generosity, and service to others.”

Specifically, for the funeral profession, the Corporate Culture Department will develop marketplace-focused programs that will be offered to funeral homes, ultimately enhancing their operations and improving their overall ability to serve families.

“The Corporate Culture Department will be focused on internal and external objectives for our employees and the funeral profession we so proudly serve,” added Jeff Stewart, Executive Vice President and Chief Culture Officer. “I am very excited about what the future holds for this new department.”
