What was a life-altering experience?

Serving in the Air Force. I traveled the world, lived in a few drastically different places, met the love of my life, broke bread with the most incredible people, and grew exponentially as a person through discipline, grueling hard work, and sheer willpower.

Advice from your mom that you wish you would have taken?

Don’t let your fuel level fall below 1/4 tank. I always thought this was about my vehicle, but it can be applied to SO much more! Don’t let your spiritual gas tank, emotional gas tank, monetary savings, even physical gas tank deplete below 1/4 tank because it sets you up to be in a dangerously tight spot.
