What do you like most about yourself?

This is a toss up. First, I am funny. I crack myself up. Sometimes people go with me. I'm lucky that I came from funny genes. When my family and I are together, my face hurts from so much laughter. I love that I blend with people I love. But I'm also proud to be a seeker of the nature of life and God and what it all means. I love being open-minded. Some days, that allows me to be amazed.

Advice you live by?

I actually have 3 critical pieces of advice that I've lived by. The first is Ghandi, to be the change I wish to see in the world. The next is St. Francis of Assissi, that I may sow love, pardon, truth, faith, hope, light and joy and to act as an instrument for God's peace. And the third is Mother Teresa's reminder that in the end, it is never between myself and anyone else. It is always between me and God.

What would you do if money was no object?

I have thought of this before. What if I won the lottery (a really big one) or if money ceased to be relevant, what I would do? I have a heart for suffering addicts. Addiction is recognized by the American Medical Association as a disease. Unfortunately, most treatment available is minimally effective. Most processes have a 5-20% success rate. I would spend a great deal of time looking for alternatives to attempt to cure the cause, the symptoms, or both.
