Funeral Directors Life Presents

2018

Year in Review

2018 was a year for growing momentum. Our HR team hired over 70 new employees to fill new and open positions. Our sales team had a record-breaking year. Our Operations team processed more new business, claims, customer calls, and insurance assignments than ever before, and the company was once again featured in both FORTUNE and Texas Monthly magazine for being a great place to work!

“Give, and it will be given to you…” Luke 6:38

Giving is a way of life at FD. And isn’t it amazing how every time you give your time, finances, or effort, you always receive a blessing in return? This year, we were blessed to give in so many ways, from the “Simply Hands and Feet” program that helped our fellow co-workers with Saturday projects, to building a home for a deserving family in the Dominican Republic, jumping in a frozen lake to raise money for grief camp, and everything in between.

No road is long when you are in good company.

We have so many great memories from time spent with our work family, whether it’s a baby shower, birthday, a fitness class, company luncheon, or company party. We had the DIG Gig mixer, the “Tacky Tourists Take Las Vegas” End-of-Year party, the invigorating workout and great speakers at the End-of-Year Meeting, and so many more countless planned and impromptu gatherings…always filled with fun and laughter along the way.
