FDLIC Recognized as a Ward's 50 Top Performer

FDLIC has recently been named to the Ward's 50® Top Performers list. The Ward's 50 list is comprised of the top 50 insurance companies in the nation based on safety, consistency, and performance.
Every year, the Ward Group, a leading provider of benchmarking and best practices research studies for insurance companies, analyzes nearly 800 life-health insurance companies domiciled in the United States. Each company is taken through a rigorous analysis of the past five years of performance history. Included on the list are major U.S. insurance companies, such as Aetna, AFLAC, CIGNA, New York Life, and USAA. It is a tremendous honor to be named on such a prestigious list.
Ward's 50 criteria for selection are:
- At least $50 million in surplus for each of the five years being analyzed
- Adjusted net income in the positive for at least four out of the last five years
- In addition, the company must pass Ward's meticulous assessment of company operations as well as numerous other performance standards
Being recognized as a Ward's 50 Top Performer indicates FDLIC's ability to preserve a strong financial position while maintaining consistent growth and performance over a particularly volatile five year period (2006-2010).
